Vowles openly acknowledges that the shortlist contains only two contenders. While Logan Sargeant’s future remains uncertain, Sainz emerges as a strong candidate. The Spaniard, currently with Ferrari, seeks a new home for 2025, and Williams could be the perfect fit.

James Vowles praises Sainz’s race-winning abilities and strategic mindset. He believes that Sainz would mesh well with Williams’ vision. The team’s investment and commitment make it an attractive option for the talented driver.

“It’s been highlighted that there’s one or two options for him and we’re very much one of those two,” said Vowles. “I personally think we’re the right option – it’s a good match made together, but the choice remains, of course, his.”
