Jacob Saylors entered the professional football scene as an undrafted free agent in 2023 after an impressive college career at FCS East Tennessee State (ETSU). Despite not hearing his name called during the NFL draft, he remained determined to prove his worth.
Stint with the Atlanta Falcons
Initially, Saylors joined the Cincinnati Bengals, but his time there was short-lived. He spent most of his rookie season on the Atlanta Falcons’ practice squad. Unfortunately, an injury led to his release from the Falcons in January 2024.
UFL Breakthrough
Jacob Saylors found a new opportunity in the UFL, specifically with the St. Louis Battlehawks. In just nine games during the UFL season, he rushed for an impressive 461 yards, making him the second-highest rusher in the league. His versatility extended beyond rushing, as he also contributed 23 receptions for 152 yards and three touchdowns through the air.
