23XI Racing, the NASCAR team co-owned by Denny Hamlin and NBA legend Michael Jordan, has recently unveiled its new headquarters, named “Airspeed,” in Huntersville, North Carolina. This state-of-the-art facility promises to be a game-changer for the team as they gear up for the 2024 season.

Denny Hamlin, a team co-founder alongside Michael Jordan, wanted 23XI Racing’s new headquarters to be different from traditional race shops. The 114,000-square-foot building exudes a Silicon Valley feel, emphasizing attention to detail and innovation.

Hamlin personally oversaw the design, ensuring that every detail mattered. From greenery hanging above the lounge area to arranging 45 Air Jordan shoes to form the No. 23 on a meeting room wall, Hamlin’s commitment shines through.

The headquarters’ name, “Airspeed,” combines Jordan’s “Air” nickname with Hamlin’s on-track speed. It reflects the team’s vision beyond being a mere race shop. 23XI Racing’s home base aligns with the sport’s Next Gen era. The team moved into Airspeed just over a year ago, facing a firm deadline of January 1. The facility is more than a garage; it’s a place where innovation meets excellence.
