Max Verstappen Strongly believes ‘Car is not fantastic’ Over Canadian GP Bumps and Curbs

Speaking to the media, Verstappen acknowledged the challenges awaiting Red Bull in Canada. He cited the new surface as a potential wildcard, which could lead to surprises. Verstappen believes that the track might not favor Red Bull as strongly as other circuits. However, he remains optimistic that it will be better than their recent outing in Monaco.

During practice sessions, Verstappen expressed concerns about the bumps on the Montreal track. Red Bull faced difficulties in managing the car’s setup over these uneven surfaces. The team will need to find a compromise between performance and stability to tackle the Canadian Grand Prix successfully.

“I think we still have some work to do,” Verstappen said. “The car is not fantastic at the moment over the bumps and over the curbs. It’s not too bad but we definitely need to fine tune a few things.”

“We know our limitations with the car and with the track, how it is now with the curbs and the bumps. It’s definitely not suiting our package for now, but we’ll try to find a few improvements.
