My Dead Friend Zone co-producer Travis Kelce says he has a bright future in Hollywood.
Paul Scanlan, the film’s producer and executive producer, discussed Travis’ future with PEOPLE during the film’s February 24 premiere in Los Angeles.
“The NFL star 100 percent has a future in Hollywood,” said Paul.
The producer told the outlet, “Even just seeing what a difference it’s made having him involved in our project, I would say yeah.”
“Travis is such a likable guy and he’s a good actor. I mean, he’s proven that he’s been in some good material. And he’s a good producer,” admitted Paul.
Travis, who is also a co-founder of Legion M, was commended by the film producer for his participation to the production.
“Travis is really good at generating attention and getting attention on a worthy project,” claimed Paul.
“And having him involved has helped us achieve our mission, getting this movie out to more people where it can really make a difference,” the producer said, stressing that Travis wanted to work on a “purposeful project.”
According to Paul, the film’s crew is “appreciative to have Travis be a part of the project.”
The presence of an NFL player “has helped the movie gain the level of attention that it deserves,” he continued.
Paul, meanwhile, noted that Travis’s contribution to a film was crucial “in allowing the movie to kind of bat above its average weight.”
