Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua has become one of the most anticipated boxing matches in the history of the sport. Seeing the two heavyweight icons lock horns to decide the undisputed heavyweight champion will no doubt be the grandest of affairs.
The boxing fraternity has mixed verdicts about the result of the fight. For some, WBC titleholder Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs) has the ultimate upper hand against Anthony Joshua (24-1, 22 KOs), who currently holds the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO belts. For the others, AJ will overpower the Gypsy King inside the squared circle.
For Eddie Hearn, the Matchroom Sport MD and Joshua’s promoter, the answer is transparent- Fury will have his first career defeat.
Anthony Joshua is going to be the undisputed king: Eddie Hearn
Since winning the green and gold belt in the Deontay Wilder rematch in February last year, Tyson Fury has not been seen in action.

The Briton, however, has been generating some verbal heat against Fury about their potential fight, and the latter has also nodded to the challenge. However, in a recent interview with ESPN, Fury doubted the fight becoming reality, claiming that it’s Joshua who isn’t interested in the matchup anymore.
While taking on an elite like Anthony Joshua could bring out some rust in Tyson Fury’s arsenal, Eddie Hearn wants to make it clear that there won’t be any scope for Fury to have a warm-up match because he wants the fight to happen soon.
In a recent interview with iFL TV, Hearn insisted that the fight will indeed take place, and it will be another win for AJ.
“Matchroom and Joshua have just spent the last two months trying to get this deal over the line just for a laugh?” Hearn said, “his [Fury] time is coming, and he’s going to get his wish, and the fight is going to happen.”
“The fight is going to happen soon, and there’s only going to be one winner. I’m so confident.”
While calling out Fury for keeping Hearn blocked on social media, the Matchroom boss claimed that they have left no stone unturned to make the undisputed title fight into a reality.
“We’re doing everything we can to make this fight, the fight is going to get made, and he’s going to get a chance to fight Anthony Joshua. He’s going to lose, and AJ is going to be the undisputed king,” Hearn added. (H/T BoxingNews24)
