The 33-year-old spent the first nine years of his pro career with the New Orleans Saints. The third-round selection out of Arkansas-Pine Bluff became the Saints’ full-time starting left tackle in his second season.

Armstead came into his own in 2018, earning himself a 2nd-Team All-Pro selection and the first of three Pro Bowl nods in a Saints uniform.

In 2022, the Dolphins offered the O-lineman a five-year contract worth $75 million with $43.37 million in guaranteed money, luring him away from the Saints. In Miami, Armstead led the team throughout his three years there and was selected to two more Pro Bowls.

As the self-described “most injured guy in NFL history,” Armstead endured numerous injuries during his career. In 2024, however, Terron had his healthiest campaign to date. With 15 games played, he tied his single-season career high and continued to be as productive as ever.

Armstead’s final season grade of 89.4 from Pro Football Focus placed him fourth among all offensive linemen in the NFL.
