Former NBA player Dennis Schroeder has publicly criticized Kevin Durant’s response to a recent on-court altercation. In a candid interview, Schroder expressed his belief that Durant’s actions revealed a weakness in his character.
As NBACentral (@TheDunkCentral) Tweeted, Schroder stated, “They won, and Kevin Durant tweets, ‘High IQ and entertainment.’ For me, that’s just being weak. You’re that type of a star, and you have to say something to a person like me who not even meant it to be negative. It was just what I see from both sides, you know what I’m saying? I didn’t appreciate it. I don’t care, but at the end of the day, that tweet, or whatever he posted, was because of me. For me, it was never no negative stuff. I respect all of those guys, all GOATs, but to say that tells me how weak he is as a person. It is what it is. Not everybody is strong, not everybody is in a good place,”

Dennis Schroeder’s Perspective
Dennis Schroeder did not mince words when discussing his feelings about Durant’s tweet. He stated, “They won, and Kevin Durant tweets, ‘High IQ and entertainment.’ For me, that’s just being weak. You’re that type of a star, and you have to say something to a person like me who not even meant it to be negative. It was just what I see from both sides, you know what I’m saying? Dennis Schroeder’s comments highlight his belief that Durant’s tweet was unnecessary and uncalled for, especially given Durant’s status as one of the NBA’s top players. Dennis Schroeder emphasized that his initial comments were not meant to be negative and that he respects Durant and other great players. However, he felt that Durant’s response indicated a lack of strength and composure.
