Canelo Alvarez had a funny and playful moment with the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, as the undisputed super middleweight world champion was seen doing some shadowboxing with the NFL superstar, and shared it through his social networks.
The Mexican decided to treat people to a bit of boxing on the golf course alongside Mahomes. Canelo made a couple of moves before Patrick who was approaching him with his fists up, but after a few seconds and with the excitement of the fans, the quarterback preferred to walk away making it clear that it was all just a playful joke.
The scene took place at the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship Tournament 2023, a celebrity golf tournament in which personalities from different sports participate such as Canelo, Mahomes, Josh Allen, Stephen Curry, Tony Romo, Aaron Rodgers, and many more.

The friendship between Mahomes and Canelo appears to be on very good terms, as both have shown admiration and affection to each other on several occasions. The pound-for-pound best attended Super Bowl LVLL at State Farm Stadium and showed his support for Patrick Mahomes by wearing the Kansas City jersey with the quarterback’s name on the back.
For his boxing career, Canelo, in his next fight, which will be his sixty-fourth in his professional career, will be against Jermell Charlo, an opponent against whom the Mexican boxer will defend his record of 59 victories in 63 fights. The confrontation will take place on Saturday, 30th September 30.
